LOCAL WOMEN HOST EVENT TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONWIDE HABITAT INITIATIVE, SPONSERED BY LOWE’S -

"National Women Build Week"

WHAT:“Getting Home With Habitat” Family Fun Day - activities include:
Army National Guard Climbing Wall and Video Game Room, Knight Crew and V-Star Motorcycle Show and Ride, Interactive Construction Equipment, Little League Mascot, Dugout, Fire Trucks, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Face Painting, and more! Music provided by Old, Fat & Ugly and New Horizons.

Groundbreaking Ceremony – Formal kick-off for the Women Build Home. Plannedparticipants include, Williamsport Mayor Gabe Campana, Lycoming County Commissioner Rebecca Burke, Habitat Board President David Daneker, Habitat Executive Director Todd Fox, Women Build Project Manager Kay Dando, Lowes Representative Stefani Linsenmaier, Junior League President Shelby Weber, Future Homeowner Melissa Donahue.

WHEN: Saturday May 10, 10:00am to 4:00pm, Groundbreaking Ceremony at 1:00pm

WHERE: Event will be held next to Logue Field in the Newberry section of Williamsport. Parking is available at Roosevelt Middle School, W. 4th Street, Williamsport. Short walk to Logue Field down Foresman Street.
