Program Information
Who do we serve?
Habitat partners with people who meet three basic criteria:
- Need: Applicants will be eligible for our program if they are currently living in conditions that are not adequate based on size, structural condition, or safety concerns. Applicants will also be considered eligible if they are currently spending more than 50% of their gross income for rent. Applicants must not be eligible for traditional mortgage programs.
- Ability to Pay: Applicants must have a steady income to pay their mortgage. We serve people whose income is between 30% to 60% of the Greater Lycoming County Area’s median income.
