Habitat ReStore
The Williamsport Habitat ReStore is the eighth Habitat ReStore in Pennsylvania Working in partnership with Greater Lycoming Habitat for Humanity, the Habitat ReStore provides a valuable source of cash flow through the sales of donated building materials
The Habitat ReStore is located in Williamsport at 540 Lycoming Street at the former site of the R. J. Ertel Company.
• Generate cash flow to support Habitat’s home
• Keep valuable materials out of our local landfills
• Provide the community with a source of low-cost
• Provide an opportunity to volunteer at the Habitat
The Habitat ReStore accepts donations of new and saleable, used building materials. These materials are sold to the public at 50-75% off the retail price. There are over 500 Habitat ReStores in the United States and Canada.
The Habitat ReStore:
• Makes home improvements more affordable.
• Helps Habitat build more homes for families in the community.
• Prevents usable building materials from going to the landfill. The Habitat ReStore will divert aproximately 80 tons of materials from the landfill in its first full year of operation.
Donating materials to the Habitat ReStore
• The Habitat ReStore is currently Building their inventory of new and gently used building materials. The Habitat ReStore accepts materials from contractors, supplies, manufacturers, retailers and individuals.
